Ian loves to draw. He still hasn't decided on what hand he prefers.

Easter

The night before Easter the kids had fun decorating eggs.

Every Easter we have a scavenger hunt for the girls. They each took turns reading the clues.

At the end of the hunt they find their baskets the Easter Bunny left them.

This year Ian went on an Easter egg hunt. Once he discovered his eggs had cars in them he was very excited. He would find the egg and hand it to Kaeli to open. At the end he tried to carry all his cars.

Happy Birthday Ian!

This was the first time Ian actually ate his birthday cake.

On March 29th Ian had his birthday.  I can't believe our little man is two years old.  Ian loves all his new toys.  He loves to try to drink the water from the water table, but most of it ends up all over his shirt.  When we open the back door he always takes his tricycle with him.  Staci, Zack, and Leanna were able to join us for Ian's birthday.  Leanna and Ian enjoyed bulling each other.  Ian kept bumping Leanna with his chest, but Leanna never backed down she is a tough cookie.

Our trip to the coast.

Ian kept looking at the ground while swinging, so he became pretty dizzy.
Ian smiled the whole time we sang the Happy Birthday song to him.
Grandma decided she wanted to dress like Ian.
During our recent trip to Atascadero we went to a park in Morro Bay and celebrated Ian's birthday.  The kids enjoyed the park and Ian's new bubble machine.

We made it to the snow!

If you had asked the girls a week ago if they had ever been to the snow they would of said, "we have been to the ice".  Two years ago we went to the snow, but there hadn't been a significant storm.  We took the girls to a sledding area.  Kaeli went down a hill, flipped her sled and ended up with a bloody nose.  The ground was just too hard, so we went home.  We made it a mission this year to give them a better snow experience.  We went up to Bryce's house in Forest Ranch.  Seven minutes from his house we found the perfect sledding area.  In some areas the snow went up to my knees.  Everyone had a blast including Midnight.  This was Midnight's first long trip and she did great.  Midnight loved playing with Bryce's dogs and running in the snow.   We couldn't of asked for a better day.  The girls had fun sledding, making snow angels, and making a snow man.  Ian even went down the hill once with Kaeli.  Ian loved eating the snow and throwing snow balls.  Now the girls finally can say they have been to the snow.
