Ian it's a apple not a ball.

I took the kids apple picking at Avila Valley Barn. Grandma, Staci, Leanna, Ilse, Christopher, and Lucas came too. The kids had a great time eating the apples right off the tree. I gave Ian a apple, he looked at me and said, ball then he threw it. I had to take a bite of the apple then he understood that he was to eat it not throw it.

Say Cheese!

One night Alyssa started pulling Ian around on her blanket and Ian was laughing up a storm. I started taking pictures and telling Ian to say cheese. Ian actually said cheese and smiled. This was the first time he understood the whole smile for the camera phrase. I took as many pictures I could.

Lassen Camping Trip 09

This was our second year going to Lassen. The kids have the best time camping with their cousins. You wouldn't think there would be snow in July, but both years there has been.

You can see where Alyssa has been hit in the back with a snow ball.

Adam had fun throwing snow balls at Alyssa.

This was Ian's first camping trip.

Nathan just got hit with a snow ball.

We went on a crazy hike, but there were some pretty amazing picture opportunities.

Taking a break from walking our three mile hike.

Ian would not walk, so Nathan got to carry all 35 pounds of him for 3 miles.

One night we popped about four or five things of Jiffy Pop. The kids had fun taking turns cooking the popcorn

The evenings by the campfire were our most relaxing part of the day. Ian had us chasing him pretty much the whole time. He did not want to stay at the campsite.

Alyssa and Tasha had so much fun together with their animals. Some of the animals even made it on the hikes.

Ian had a blast catching some air!

Perfect form.

Ian loves his daddy.

Best buds.

The waterfall was beautiful. This was one of the hikes Alyssa's bird went on as you can see in the picture.

Ian didn't care that the water was freezing, he just wanted to dive right in.

We were in a cave that lava used to flow through. It was nice and cool in the cave.

This is pretty much how all the kids looked all the time.

We had a great time camping. We hope to have more adventures next year.
